Fed is Best

Hey all!

It has been a little while since my last blog post… I told you I wasn’t very good at this!  Anyway, I wanted to show you all a wonderful project that I had the opportunity to work on called Fed is Best. I will link ALL the photographers at the end of this post so you can check them out on social media and their websites! ❤

On March 4th, 2017 a wonderful photographer named Tanya Molding wanted to bring back this event that she had done the year before.  If you don’t know about Fed is Best, it is a special day created to honor and photograph mothers feeding their babes any way that they feel is right for their family! If you want to learn more about the Fed is Best Foundation you can go to their site HERE.

Tanya was like Wonder Woman organizing this event.  Not only did she act as one of the photographers, she brought all us volunteers together, reached out to mothers, rented the Travis AFB Community Center, and even got lactation goodies for the mommas! When I heard about this event I knew I had to be involved.  I work with a lot of moms and have seen the struggles they have gone through when it comes to parenting their babes.  It is so important to me to give back to these ladies and what better way than to offer my services and help make them feel beautiful?

There were so many amazing ladies that volunteered for this event as well!  Jessica Valladares was in the “beauty room” with me curling hair, Amanda Webb and Jenna were the other two wonderful photographers, Caroline Ramirez was the videographer, Susy Blasco was the photographer assistant, and finally Tiffany Mally watched all of the littles while the mommas were being super stars!

I will link the photographers websites and facebook pages below along with some of the shots that I did the makeup for.

This was such a wonderful experience and I hope to continue this in NJ!

Kay
